Notice the rusted metal over and along the door.
This is known as GI Armor or Haji Armor. This is simply us taking whatever armor we can find laying around from former Iraqi Personnel Carriers or tanks or whatever and cutting it to size and welding it on. It works pretty good if attacked from the side with small arms.
